Marianne is a registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Registered Medicare Provider for Clinical Psychology items.
She enjoys empowering people through gentle respect, acceptance and various therapeutic models to enable them to live meaningfully enriched lives as defined by themselves. As such, the therapeutic process is very much a collaborative one. Marianne has also worked at King Edward Memorial Hospital in the area of perinatal mental health and women’s health.
Prior to private practice Marianne worked in both the government and community sectors for 10 years. She has worked in the drug and alcohol area, a specialist eating disorder unit, generalist services and a Fly in Fly out rural counselling service. For several years Marianne worked as both a therapist and a manager of a youth counselling agency.
Since moving into private practice in 2010 Marianne has focused on adult clients working with a range of issues as outlined in her main areas of practice. Her practice is non-judgemental and affirming of diverse sexualities, genders, and relationship structures.
