About Mimi Leith
Mimi is a Clinical Psychologist. She is registered and endorsed with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and is a Medicare provider for Clinical Psychology items.
Mimi understands that a sense of trust and safety is essential to therapy. She places the client at the centre of the therapeutic process, helping them to grow their individual strengths and insights. Through empathy, gentle challenging and support, Mimi works with clients to feel empowered, draw upon their inherent resilience and bring about positive change.
Mimi provides evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to clients with varied and complex psychological needs. Her experience includes working with individuals and groups in hospital and correctional facilities and working with young people at Headspace. Mimi has a particular interest in family of origin issues, complex trauma and perinatal mental health.
